Remember, if you are want to become certified to evaluate your own system: you must complete this and Septic 201 and own a Conventional Gravity or Conventional Pump system. (All other system types require professional evaluation)
The first step in the HOST program is to complete Septic 101. You can do this in two ways: View it online or attend a class. See below.
*Make sure "pop up" blocker is turned off to print certificate.
*Mac users: If you use a Mac, you will need to download the Silverlight Plug-in to watch the video. If you have Flip 4 Mac on your computer, this can cause some communication problems. Uninstalling Flip 4 Mac may be necessary. If you continue to have problems, contact us and we try to get it resolved. Thanks.
In partnership with WSU Island County Extension, the class is offered at different locations throughout the county and covers the basics of caring and maintaining your system.
