Living Environment

Welcome to the Living Environment program in Island County, Washington.

The Living Environment program is focused on the relationship between people and the places where they live, play and work. Island County Public Health staff inspect and permit the operation of all mobile home parks and recreational vehicle parks in the county. This review includes an evaluation of the property, verification of utility service provision and safety issues.

Island County Public Health currently inspects and permits 31 mobile home and recreational vehicle parks within the county. Technical assistance is available to all county residents.
